“The leaders who work most effectively, it seems to me, never say ‘I’. And that’s not because they have trained themselves not to say ‘I’. They don’t think ‘I’. They think ‘we’; they think ‘team’. They understand their job is to make the team function. They accept responsibility and don’t sidestep it, but ‘we’ gets the credit… This is what creates trust & respect, which enables you to get the task done.” – Peter F. Drucker
Inspires leaders to lead. It provides a context, ‘facilitative leadership’, to explore your personal style and approach in working within a team to solve problems, maximize performance, and get results.
MGI carries the belief that all people are leaders. Define your ‘Authentic Leadership’ and apply your personal style to team and individual situations proves to be the challenge. From the metaphor of the hockey world, the tools provided, and insights gained benefit the leader by providing context to better ‘manage your dressing room’.
With an aging population, the need for succession planning continues to be seen as a continuing challenge in many organizations. That along with the interest to maximize performance within the workforce, sees the need to better understand the needs, wants and tendencies of the different age groupings found within the diverse nature of organizations.
MGI helps organizations better understand how to ‘coach’ performance within the difference age groupings. Meeting the challenge of seeking to understand before being understood.
Purpose is a unique source of energy. It fuels focus, direction, passion and perseverance. Pathway to Leadership, inspires your front line supervisors, through an experiential approach to learning, to challenge the way they work with and support their direct reports.
The training will challenge attitudes, which transcribe into shifts in behavior enhancing or building increased team performance. Supervisors will gain an increased understanding of the principles which build ‘team synergy’
Today’s youth have a lot of messages that they are wading through; messages promoting a perfect body, having the right clothes and other possessions, or fitting in with the right crowd. Although we can’t always diminish the impact of these messages, we can teach and train up our youth in such a way that they can make successful choices and that they can become inspiring leaders to their peers as well as to the greater community.
Our goal at MGI is to create an experience, which fosters inspiration, growth and leadership ability in today’s youth. The outcomes are tangible and the excitement visible as strengths are brought to light and leadership ability honed in the midst of team successes.
